I recently picked up an acer predator 5000. I love it! I immediately went out and got a ram upgrade, 2X 16 gig crossair vengeance. It says on the box 5500 but when i look at them in bios or task manager it says 4400. I know about the XMP not being enabled, is that the problem? Settings seem to be a little restricted in the bios. Is there a way to manually do this? Been researching and havent found a solid answer.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Best and most workable ram for the Predator Orion 5000 PO5-640 is the DDR5-4800 • CL=40 • NON-ECC • UDIMM • 288-pin • 1.1V • 1Rx16 • PC5-38400 type ram, the Corsair Vengeance DDR5-5500MHz is not compatible to this desktop that is why the ram is downclocked to DDR5-4400MHz. Do a Crucial System Scan for desktop as that will tell you the max speed ram that your desktop will work the best with, as that is why the ram that you have purchased is not compatible and is showing a downclocked value in task Manager and bios.
