Certain games I reguluarly played on my Aspire E5 576 could run just fine when it was on UE 4, but since the big push to UE5, I keep getting pop up windows that  my installed version has known issues, and reccomends me to go to intel's download center to grab an update. Installed version is 25.20.100.6286, and it reccomends at least version 30.0.101.1340.

However, when I follow the link and download the driver installer from intel, it tells me that the manufacturer of my device (so, Acer) has locked the driver to "manufacturer specifications" and to download the latest driver from the manufacturer's website. But Acer hasnt come through with that.

Is there ANY way to get around that lock or update the drivers manually?

    You can try downloading and installing Driver Booster freeware and similar driver tools to see if it can pick up any better drivers than those currently offered on the Acer driver download page. Meanwhile, you have to keep checking the download page for new updates like the rest of us Acer users. We have no way to determine if or when these updates will appear since we are not Acer employees or service representatives on these forums.

    @Ninjajoe95 here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19344/intel-graphics-windows-dch-drivers.html

    use the zip file for manual driver installation because the .exe will prompt to delete the OEM driver first which is a bit complicated.

    Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
    Thank you and have a nice day!
