Is Aspire Vero a good laptop?

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if this laptop is a good investment. I am working from home doing essential office work and answering phone calls and emails. Most of the tools we use are online. My work is 9 hours long. Can the battery last that long? Do I need to buy a cooling fan as it may get too hot? It's my first time buying a new laptop so I want to ensure it's a good one.

Thanks to those who'll answer! :-)

Sorry, nothing is a 100% certainty with just about any consumer-oriented laptop you might consider, Vero or other brand/model. Just purchase it from a vendor with a flexible return merchandise authorization (RMA) policy if you're not happy with it within the first few weeks or month of using it.

Despite advertising claims, laptop batteries usually won't last 9 hrs on a full charge except with very dim screens and very limited number of apps & browser tabs running at the same time. You should realistically expect no more than about half that time, perhaps 5 hours at best for just about any consumer-oriented laptop. Coolers aren't needed except for heavy gaming and video editing.
