I need extra ram and upgrade SSD for my Aspire 1 A115-31C2KK, what is the max ram I can add?

I'd like to upgrade the SSD as well, would 2.5 sata 3 hhd or ssd be better than 2280 ssd or is there not much difference?

Sorry. The RAM is fixed soldered to the mainboard. There is no replaceable RAM socket.

A 2.5" SSD would be about the same speed as the m.2 2280 SSD card. A 2.5" HDD would be slower. The following Western Digital SSDs / HDDs are about the best deals right now. You should be able to install up to 2TB for each type of SSD or HDD

Ah for some reason I thought there was an extra slot to add more RAM. I was thinking to put a 16G in there if I could. Thanks for the info!
