Model: Aspire A515-51G V2.02
OS: Linux

So My battery had some issues and I had to reset it every single time I needed to turn on my laptop. So I disconnected the battery and now keep my laptop connected to a power source all the time.
The charger had blue light all the time but now I am experiencing flickering orange light sometimes blinking alternatively with the blue (also simultaneously sometimes producing a purple color)

Does it indicate something?
Also, This is not restricted to situations where my laptop is performing heavy tasks. It's totally random :)

@strawhat both power light and charging light blinking means that the laptop doesn't have enough power source. You can try to get another replacement battery to see if that problem goes away.

But the laptop is working just fine on AC adapter

Yes, I have the battery but it's just that I need to reset my laptop's battery every time before I start using it. And since I am using my laptop as a desktop that's not feasible for me.

I suppose then it's nothing to worry about if the laptop is working fine?

@strawhat does the blinking occurs randomly or when the laptop load is heavy like opening many tabs?

    Hi @AnhEZ28 ,

As I mentioned in my first comment:
