Hi all. Is it possible for aspire c24-963 to put 24 GB of RAM (16 + 8), or is it impossible? I can't find information anywhere. I need a clear answer.

@AlexhghGood afternoon. Thanks for the answer. It turns out that it is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to put 24 GB, or is it possible, but then the computer WILL NOT BOOT?

You can upgrade either using two 8GB or 16 GB modules. It is advisable to use the RAM that matches the size, frequency, latency, and manufacturer to receive the best stability and performance. If you install memory in mismatched capacities (1 x 8 GB + 1 x 16 GB for example), the memory runs in the lower performing single data rate (SDR) mode.

If you set the sticks in the right DIMM slots, then the 16Gb will run in a dual channel. Anything that's used over that amount will then bump into the 8Gb in a single channel and you'll take a small performance hit. Mixing kits are always a ***** shoot. Most times they work, sometimes they need adjusting, and sometimes they don't play together at all.
