Does Aspire E14 E5-476G-5413 compatible with M2 NVME SSD?

Hi,

I am planning to install a Samsung Evo 980 500GB M2 NVME SSD on my laptop. I'm wonder if it is compatible. If it is, what is the maximum speed, given the advertised speed is 3000MB/s for PCIe 4 lanes, and this laptop has only 2 PCIe lanes.

I have read some threads on this forum, some states that it supports both M2 NVME and M2 SATA 3, some states that M2 NVME is supported but backward compatible with SATA 3 speed, and there might be compatibility problems. Is it recommended to buy a M2 NVME or M2 SATA 3 SSD?

Thank you.
