Add 2nd SSD to Aspire TC-391-UR11

Hi,

I'd recently bought an  Aspire TC-391-UR11. It currently has a 512GB SSD installed. I use it mainly for email, web surfing and Ham Radio applications. Loving it so far.

I notice there is only one bay on the motherboard for SSDs. I also see no spare SATA or power cables present.
If I wanted to install a second SSD for back up purposes, am I correct in assuming that I would mount it in one of the empty HDD bays? I know I'll need to buy some cables for it, but is it typical to use some sort of adapter kit to mount it in an HDD bay?

Thanks,
Scott

Yep, you can add up to two-2TB 3.5" SSDs or HDDs in the rack with standard 3.5" drive cables and standard 3.5" Y-power connector. New HDDs or SSDs typically come with the screws and hardware needed to mount them in the rack. Check with the vendor you choose to make sure.

Buy an external USB drives would be the simplest and cheapest plus you can move around.
