The A315-56 OEM battery should be a 3 cells 4200mAh type battery (that is a 47,880 mWh battery charge) and your battery shows that the battery report battery is a 41,771mWh which could be a reason also. Also you need to periodically discharge the battery until the laptop turns off and then recharge it to reconstitute the batteries life as good practice.

The OEM Acer fitted batteries for your A315-56 laptop are either a 2 cell battery of 4870mAh (55.518 mWh) to the 3 cells 4471mAh (50.9694 mWh) and your laptop has only a LGC AP1988K that is showing a design capacity of 41771 mWh which could be a problem of why your battery is draining so quickly, especially if you mainly use your laptop on battery power for 15 months as batteries do wear out? This is one of the OEM batteries that your A315-56 should use and should have had "Acer AP18C4K replacement battery (48Wh, 3 cells)" as your Aspire A315-56 is fitted OEM from Acer with higher capacities batteries of these specs and models:

    1. Murata AP16M4J (2 cells) - 4870mAh (55.518 mWh)
    2. Panasonic AP16M5J (2 cells) - 4810mAh (54.834 mWh)
    3. Murata AP18C4K (3 cells) - 4200mAh (47,880 mWh)
    4. LG AP18C8K (3 cells) - 4471mAh (50.9694 mWh) use this one or change the battery to this type.

Also tell us how do you use your laptop, do you mainly use it on mains power or battery only? As charging issues are not only related to battery its also got allot to do with the charger and if the charger is not faulty, check if the charger outputs 11.4 volts (outside is the negative and yhe inside is the positive) check your charger with a multimeter, also it could be that you have internal laptop power circuitries issues that is part of the charging process for your battery which is not giving out full charging power to the battery etc as power and charging issues are complex or it could only be a simple fault that your battery or charger are faulty and need replacing? But if they are all functioning 100% then take your laptop to an experienced tech that can analyse and repair your charging issues.

Thank you so much for the detailed answer really appreciated it.
just one more question, should I mainly depend on electric power (laptop charger) or only battery when using my laptop, FYI I don't use it for gaming at all it's just normal studying works.

    Hi @Ibtsam

You can try to callibrate the battery to check if that makes any difference using the steps in the below link.

    https://www.windowscentral.com/how-calibrate-battery-your-windows-10-laptop

If in case that doesn't work to check if it is a software related issue you can try to do a reset to check if that makes any difference.

Check the above link to do a reset.

NOTE: Make sure to backup all the data before the reset.

Hope it will help you in some way.
