Hi Guys so I'm planning to bring my laptop on a Acer Service Center Next Week to have a repaste (thermal paste and thermal pads) and to clean the laptop since I'm having thermal throttling issues "again"

I would like to ask if what thickness of the pads are needed on my laptop so that i can buy them online since the service center told me they don't have thermal pads on hand

Also can anyone point out which parts need "X" thickness of pads

Thanks and I hope you can help me guys

here's what my laptop looks like back then when I asked them to repaste CPU and GPU a few months ago because of thermal issues

@Amatsukaze you don't really need to replace the pink paste with the thermal pads because it works fine and is reusable. You only need to replace the thermal paste on the CPU and GPU chip with Kryonaut, MX-4, or other high-quality thermal paste.

@Amatsukaze might be when it is so dry up, hard to spread, or contaminated.
