predator helios 300 why does my game lag, if i dont open turbo and play? what shall i do?

i bought my predator helios 300 (2020) RTX 2060 one and half years back and since past few months it has been lagging every time i play NBA 2K21 and RDR  and other games.
if i turn my turbo on and play , there is no lag seen, but gpu is extreme. if i dont turn my turbo on then the game lags and i have to turn it off and on again and again at intervals to make it stop.
it does irritate a lot, lags in between games when your net is also good , no other problem as such

Probably overheating. When was the last time you cleaned and re-pasted the thermal module heatsinks to the CPU and GPU? This is considered normal maintenance that should be done annually for heavy gaming. You should at least vacuum the air intake vents directly over the fan blades and blow air into the  air exhaust vents to clean out dust and debris which is probably blocking the air flow after a year and a half of use.
