On my laptop, whenever I press the "d" key it pops up as d1 and whenever I press the "4" key it pops up as 42. I'm on a predator helios 300 bought in 2019 but this keyboard problem keeps arising.

    Hi,
Go to Device Manager, expand Keyboards, right click Standard PS/2 keyboard and select Properties, move to Driver tab and uninstall the driver, reboot and let Windows install the driver.

    Hi @ColdBooper

If reinstalling the driver didn't make any difference then you can try to do a reset to check if that makes any difference.

Check the above link to do a reset.

NOTE: Make sure to backup all the data before the reset.

Hope it will help you in some way.

I have a similar issue with mine (2020 model) , my keyboard suddenly started doing weird things, when the number lock is on the 2 key on both the number lock and the upper part of the keyboard register as 22 and the 5 on the number lock registers as 35 while the 3 on the upper part of the keyboard registers as 35, i tried closing the number lock which didn't help as different keys started doing weird things, so i tired to reinstall and update the drivers, which didn't help, i tried updating the bios, again nothing changed, and I proceeded with a laptop reset and it still didn't work, I'm not quite sure whether it's a hardware issue or not, but I failed to fix it via software.
