Acer Nitro 5 A515-55 won’t turn on

Bought my Nitro last October and it’s been a great machine. No issues. Battery life sucks but I keep it plugged in and game on it daily. I went out last night and came back to a completely black screen laptop. No power. Nothing. I tried the hold power option method and even unplugged the battery and still nothing. Any ideas? Is it the charging cable? The battery? Or is my motherboard fried (I did examine when I opened to removed the battery and nothing seems fried. Fans work as well). I’m literally at a loss for words. Only had it for 9 months.

    Hi @ SeoulReaper

Once the battery is removed, flip the laptop. Open the top cover, press and hold the power button for 1 minute. Connect the battery back on the back of computer. Connect the charger cable back and then turn on the computer.

Acer Nitro systems that have the AC adapter connection on the back use an improved AC adapter connection that helps secure the AC adapter. The adapter may feel like it is fully inserted, but requires a secondary push to fully seat the connection. You should hear a slight click when the AC adapter is fully inserted. Once the adapter is connected, make sure you orient it horizontally so it does not interfere with tilting this display as shown in the image below.

I've had it on since the day I bought it (last October) and haven't really turned it off because the battery life is so short just figured having it plugged in and using it as a desktop would suffice. Never had an issue. It would heat up but I have a kootek cooling pad that keeps it under control. Plus I would make sure it wouldn't overclock when gaming on it using the geforce application. Again, 9 months in and no issues. I did every trick I could find online. Plus I even went and purchased a new lithium battery and charging cord (arrived this morning) and still no power. So the issue has to be with the hardware itself right? Is there anything I can do to fix it from my end? Or do I need to just get a new one?
