Acer Aspire 515-46 Black Screen

Hi everyone, first time asking for help.

Acer was going great as usual, out of nothing, screen goes black.

keyboard as light, when i coneect an external monitor, it works great. when disconnected from other monitor, i just have a black screen (battery connected or disconnected)

any idea?

    Hi @ Davidsilvasantos
    Press and hold power button till machine shuts off. Unplug charger. Insert paperclip into reset pinhole on bottom for about 60 seconds. Plug charger back in but wait for battery charge LED to turn from steady orange to steady blue

    it did not work.

    still need to connect to a secondary monitor

    DId not work

    any Bios upgrade needed?

    1. Select Start , then open Settings .
    2. Under System , select Display . ...
    3. Use the dropdown list next to the image of your desktop to choose how your screen will project across your displays.
    4. Once you've chosen your setup, select Apply.

    still nothing

    i can hear that everything is working on the laptop, except the display. even the sound is ok

    No other ideas? This is frustrating
