Predator 17 Won’t Turn On

This would’ve been the first time starting it up in a few months. I’ve had it on the charger for a few hours now. When I hit the power button, I get a few lights and nothing else (shown in the picture). I’ve followed the only support I got which was to hold the battery reset and waited until trying again, and still nothing. I also replaced the CMOS battery, and now when I plug the charger in, it automatically tries to power up (same as the picture) but now the charger light isn't turning on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take the bios and the main batteries out and leave them unplugged for 5 min, then plug both batteries in and see if the laptop fires up and boots? If not check the main battery (as you have fully charged it) if its plugged in properly and if its plug pins are not corroded and its up to spec its fully charged output is at around 19V? As all these steps should fire your laptop up, otherwise its an internal power booting issues that need to be diagnosed by an experienced technician as and when you store laptops for any or long periods of time, you need to store the laptop properly as climatic conditions and especially moisture accumulating onto internal circuitries can shorten mosats, capacitors, resistors and internal components out when you fire the laptop up, which could have happened to you.

Took the battery out and tried plugging it in without the battery and still get the same lights the moment I do without hitting the power button. The laptop was stored in a case and inside a closet properly. This is the first time in about 6 months I've tried starting it up, and was working fine the last time it was out.

    Hi @ Coolrock
Connect the charger cable back and then turn on the computer. If you don't see a reset pin hole on the back of laptop or if you are not able to remove the battery (if it is inbuilt) then please unplug all the cables and devices out of laptop. Hold the power button for 1 minute.
