I have an Aspire 3 laptop and the following message at bootup "The upgrade process has been suspended. Please make sure the system meet both conditions below. Plug in AC adaptor. Battery capacity is more than 25%." The battery was fully charged at the time.  Please help - I need to retrieve the files.

I've unplugged the charger ,  @AnhEZ28   Btw, I looked for a pinhole at the back of the laptop to see if I could reset the battery, but can't find any.  I'm dismayed 'cause this is a new laptop that was running fine before. Please help.

If it is a brand new PC still under warranty, contact Acer for repair.

@depp Since it hasn't started the BIOS updating process, you can hold the power button for 15 secs to force shutdown the laptop.
