Background Information:
Model: Aspire E5-575G
Current Intel HD Graphics 520 Driver: 23.20.16.5038 (Last update was in 2018)
Problem:
I am getting the following error message when I start Adobe After Effects saying the current driver is not supported.
Adobe recommends that the driver version should be 27.20.100.8476 or above per link below.
(Thread was edited to add model name to the title)

Possible Fixes:
Adobe suggests downloading a driver update from Intel, however, this is not suggested as Acer uses special drivers...
Here is the link to Adobe's suggested fix: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/drivers-video-win-intel.html
Question(s):
Is / When is Acer planning to release an update for this driver?
If not, is it OK to just download and install the driver update from Intel?

@jimparrillo likely not. You can install the latest Intel driver from here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19344/intel-graphics-windows-dch-drivers.htmlPlease remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.

@jimparrillo go to the device manager and uninstall the Intel HD 520 driver with the "delete the driver software" box ticked. Right-click on any device and choose scan for hardware changes. Make sure that it is replaced with the Microsoft Basic adapter driver. If not, repeat the uninstallation process again.Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
