Yesterday, my nephew accidentally spill the water onto my laptop while he's watching. The water spilled all over the keyboard and underneath, I didn't got a chance to shut it down properly because the screen blackouts, but I didn't press the power button on keyboard. I immediately drain out all the water, put my laptop upside down to drain all the possible water inside the laptop. The light indicator of the battery turned pink, then after a couple of minutes it got back into red as well as the blue light. I removed the back case  just to air dry it.  After an hour, the screen automatically back without any glitch then I shut it down on screen. I tried to open it again today, I just press the power button and did nothing. Nothing happened, screen is okay without any glitches.

My concern is can I use it now? Do I need to wait for a few more days to ensure it's dry inside? Or I need to bring it to acer's customer service. Also the battery light(red) indicator didn't turn off after the incident yesterday. What does it mean?

Anyone's response is higly appreciated.  Hoping for someone to help me. Thank you so much.

If it was mine, I'd unplug charger and temporarily disconnect the battery connector from mainboard. Then let it continue to dry upside down with bottom cover removed for a few days in a dry room.  Then put it all back together, plug the charger back in but wait for battery charge LED to indicate a fully charged battery before trying to turn it back on again.
