What should I do now my battery is draining so fast even in idle mode?

Any one here can help me what should I fo now and also my warranty ended last month it has been a year

    Ooh er that is a tad fast! Check the battery report to see if the battery has died
    powercfg /batteryreport
    It will create a html file you can open, look to see if the max capacity is someting stupidly low

    If it is that, drain the battery, depress the reset button on the bottom for ~ 10 seconds if you have one, if not hold the power button. After that charge it up see if that does it. Could be the controller thats messed up

    You might also need to do a Windows recalibration. From a full charge, run on battery until Windows forces a shutdown due to low battery, then fully charge before turning it back on. Repeat a few times and the numbers will get better.
