Hi there,

We just bought those Aspire 7 laptops for work, been testing one of them at home this weekend together with a docking station to connect the monitors.
Seems trough the USB-C port this doesn't give a (video)signal, just power/data? I have searched the forum and seems there are solutions using a USB convertor to HDMI or DP.

My question is tho, does this need to be used with the USB 3.0 port, or can it be a USB-C -> HDMI/DP convertor too and will it then transmit video signal trough the USB-C port? (unlike now were it only works for mouse/keyboard, not the screens).

I just want to make sure we don't buy the wrong adapters on top of the docking station only being able to handle half the work due to the USB-C port on the Aspire 7.

Could we use the USB port(s) on our docking station https://www.amazon.com/Belkin-MultiPort-Pass-Through-Charging-Ethernet/dp/B08PY4KLLT or should they be connected in the laptop itself.
I would appreciate some feedback from people having the same laptop and experience they got it to work connecting 2 screens on top of the laptop screen.

So the perfect solution would be to have 2 normal monitors connected to the laptop/docking station, together with the normal laptop screen, all able to be used as a seperate screens.
