ASPIRE R5-571T sees HDD/SDD, but won't boot to it "No Bootable Device Message"

Recently, my Aspire r5-571T-5720 began going haywire. I was dual booting Windows 10 (which came with the system) and Ubuntu Linux for years with no problems. Well, then I began getting numerous crazy antics and i was no longer able to boot to either system on the HDD. I just figured the hard drive was failing.

So, I purchased a new SATA SSD and installed it. I plugged in my Ubuntu live USB and all was perfect. The system came up and installed the program on my new SSD. But, upon restart after installation I got the dreaded "No bootable device" message. I changed the BIOS boot settings to every thinkable combination, and still no luck.

The PC can actually see the new SSD because it says it in the BIOS, but, when time comes to boot an OS to it, it acts as if there is nothing there.

I have also tried booting a clean Windows installation to it, and nothing. SAME MESSAGE: "NO BOOTABLE DEVICE"

So, then I bought an M.2 SSD, thinking it may have been the SATA Connector going bad. Nope, same thing. NO BOOTABLE DEVICE, yet the PC Bios can see the SSD plugged into the system.

The only way I can even run an OS it so to use an UBUNTU live USB and then plug in an external USB Flash Drive to serve as the hard drive.  I can boot to a live session, but once i try to install the system even on the Flash Drive, I get the: NO BOOTABLE DEVICE message yet again.

I am completely flummoxed. Is the PC motherboard shorting out the internal SSDs? Because when I plug them into a SATA-PC USB adapter to another system, the computer cannot see the hard drives. Its like they are fried, but the BIOS in my original ASpire can still see them, but it just wont boot to them.

I don't know what else to do. I am about to replace have to replace the entire motherboard as as last ditch effort to try to save the PC, but, for what I may have to spend to fix this, I can almost buy a new laptop.

Any advice to avoid a full motherboard replacement would be greatly appreciated.

What happens when you turn on the machine, immediately tap F2 to enter the BIOS menu --- then press F9 to load defaults --- then press F10 to save defaults and exit?

Have already tried that, but I attempted it again anyway, and no luck. Gets nothing but "no bootable device" again and again.

Please post a phone photo of BIOS INFORMATION tab if possible.
