Just want to explain to you briefly and that is, what the first thing that you need to consider and do to determine what you are going to use this upgraded memory for your laptop? As this laptop comes OEM with 16GB RAM and that is just adequate for gaming and most browsing and general home use. If you are a hard core gamer and play high end gaming you will need a min of 16GB+ but this also depends on your OEM NVIDIA Pascal GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 GPU and what that can perform to? Then and if you are or want memory for image or video processing then 64GB is adequate but its not the top end, as some editors use 128GB to 256GB RAM and in this kinds of editing the more RAM the better.

The best way for you to find out the most suitable and best RAM kits for your PH317-52-770M laptop that comes with the Intel Coffee Lake H/Refresh H type i7-8750H CPU (as the specs that I'm quoting is the official Intel's OEM specs for this CPU's max memory) which is at max memory of 64GB total running either DD4-2666MHz or LPDDR3-2133MHz type RAM, The best IMO is for you to do the "Crucial System Scan" as this scan will list the max capacity memory specs (which could be 64GB at DDR4-2666MHz) of the RAM that they make and not what Acer suggests OEM (they do explain why they recommend this upper RAM capacity also) and also they list RAM for all budgets for their individual memory modules or their kit form RAM (into your laptops 2x slots) so do the scan first as its very useful as a guide. Also you can install the CPUz software and look in its Memory and SPD sections to find out what your laptops RAM specs are currently running at? And you can match that same RAM with higher capacity RAM to exactly your existing RAM specs are.

Btw, Acer quotes OEM 32GB total RAM for your PH317-52 into its 2x memory slots at 2x 16GB modules at DDR4-2666Mhz CL19 of the below types (don't install overclocked spec RAM types as it won't work) always install the OEM suggested RAM like Acer suggests for their 16GB modules below and what is running OEM on your laptop (see CPUz memory/SPD specs) as its up to you and your budget and needs what your max spec capacity and max speeds that you go for are:

    1.
    Memory HYNIX SO-DIMM DDRIV 2666 16GB HMA82GS6CJR8N-VK LF+HF 1024*8 1Xn - Acer part #: KN.16G0G.031
    2. Memory KINGSTON SO-DIMM DDRIV 2666 16GB ACR26D4S9D8ME-16 LF+HF 1024*8 - Acer part #: KN.16G07.028
    3. Memory MICRON SO-DIMM DDRIV 3200 16GB MTA16ATF2G64HZ-3G2J1 LF+HF 1024*8 Z21C - Acer part #: KN.16G04.013

Good luck and hope this helps you and many more out of how to figure out the most suitable memory upgrades is concerned.
