One is at the SATA drive lid cover, one is near the centre of the laptop.

No matter which screw I use, nothing happens when I turn it so I'm assuming the two holes on the back lid cover are stripped, so I'm just putting tape over them to prevent dust from going in.

Is this ok? Is there no real danger or repercussion to having 2 missing screws in these areas? Do they hold any important parts?

If the laptop were to fall and land on impact, will it affect the tightness/the stability of the other external laptop screws or not?

Additionally are any screws of the back lid cover different? Might I have used the wrong screw or are they all the same and what is the screw size? I compared all of them and they look the same so I'm assuming it's a stripped hole.
