my acer nitro 515-55 is too hot without doing anything

last week i open my acer nitro 515-55 to clean up my cooling fan. there were alot of dirt and dust, i opened heatsink of cpu gpu and inserted new thermal paste mx-4, but after that i tested my laptop and it went overheat 93 Celsuis. my CPU throttling and cannot run at max 4.2 Ghz. it ran 3.6 ghz and i got 1500 point benchmark. i used to get 2100 point but it

    @Thai123 definitely you will have to redo the thermal paste application. Make sure that you clean the old paste and spread the paste in the X method. Screw in the heatsink just right so that it makes good contact.

    I came here looking for the same answer but i stumbled on the solution blindly.. turn down your texture filtering - quality to “Performance”.. it makes the thermal runaway not so bad.. they put a lot in this laptop.. but its subject to the weakness of any laptop as a compact design.. so you have to be conservative with your Nvidia settings..
