laptop: acer nitro 5 (AN515-54)

I want to reset the Laptop without losing data: (nitrosense, Norton, or anything that comes with the computer when you bought it)

I want to reset the computer to the state where I bought it

I have two partitions on the drive: Healthy (Recovery Partiton) 1GB , Healthy (EFI System Partiton) 100MB

I want to reset the old version of windows, So it will be just like I bought the Laptop

I do not find the option "Factory Image Restore" In acer I do not know how to find the option "Factory Image Restore"

I had this option in dell laptop (A video showing the option on a dell computer: youtube.com/watch?t=192&v=SLwLjyxf34U )

Is it possible to do that?

I do not want to lose acer apps I want to have the old version of Windows and the old drivers that come with the computer

    Hi @ ingho

    1. In the search box on your laptop, type Recovery, then click Acer Recovery Management.
    2. Click Recovery Management.
    3. In Acer Care Center, click Get started next to Reset your PC.
    4. Click Remove everything.
    5. Click Just remove my files or Remove files and clean the drive depending on your needs.
    6. Click Reset.

If you tried to install another version of Windows, the original factory reset partition may no longer be available or accessible. However, you can try to recover it by the ALT+F10 cold boot method as folllows.

    (1) Shut down machine normally
    (2) Turn it back on and IMMEDIATELY  press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key
    (3) A factory reset menu should appear
    (4) Choose the erase everything, factory reset to return the machine to the original out-of-the-box factory system

@ingho you can reset the Windows without losing apps in the Updates & Recovery tab. Choose either local or cloud reinstall. I have tried this once and it still keeps the original Acer Wallpaper and other OEM apps.
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!
