I've had this nitro 5 laptop for 6 days and today when I turned it on, some system software update started and slowly loaded until it reached nearly 1/4 completion and then failed. After that, it displayed some text about cleaning or resetting the altered files and loaded the back to the previous version. after that, the audio turned off, a small square of bright, vibrantly colored pixel appeared in the middle of my screen and none of the taskbar functions work or open besides one drive, I can't open options either, no matter what I try. I restarted the laptop multiple times but only the pixels have been fixed.  where should I go from here. thank you

  • What is the exact model? Example AN515-55-58VH. What appears when you press alt+f10 before the acer logo?

If you are able to login to windows and if you are able to see the regular desktop and icons..

Sometimes a simple system restore will fix the issue..

    Try windows x
click on power shell admin or command prompt admin
    type rstrui
chose an earlier date on which your computer was working fine
    click on next, finish, yes
It will restore your computer to an earlier date
if you get an message - system restore not completed - click on close
It will show you all the icons..
Try and check whether it is working now ..
