WiFi Connection Issues with Aspire A515-44

Since I've had this laptop, sometimes my WiFi will completely cut out. Its not too long that I'm unable to work for the rest of the day, however it's disconnected long enough for me to be kicked out of whatever I'm doing. This is super frustrating, especially after paying quite a lot of money :( I am using the model with the Ryzen 7 processor and the Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A Wireless Adaptor.


Note --> this has only ever happened on one network, the main home one I use. This has never happened on my school's WiFi or any other LAN I've been on.
I assumed it was an issue with the router at first, however while I experience this loss of connection on my laptop, all other devices on the network are unaffected, such as my phone (which would be directly next to my laptop), which makes me think there's a specific thing about the laptop that my router doesn't like.

    Open  Device Manager. Click network adapters folder. Right click properties  wifi card. Click advanced tab. Click preferred band. First try changing from no preference to 2.4GHz band. If still no joy, change to 5Ghz band

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    ​2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit. 
    3. You will be in setup utility page. 
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself. 

    Check this T/S and post the result. ​

    I have just tried this now, hopefully it will work, I’ll keep updated if not

    Hi @Easwar, sadly it didn't work, however I was able to take a screenshot of the issue in action, after being removed from a multiplayer game for faulty connection, I went to my browser to search something. As you can see, my browser is telling me I have no internet however my laptop seems to be connected to the network just fine? I'm really lost on what to do here...

    Have you tried restarting your router?

    When you first open Device Manager, do you see any red or yellow warnings?

    Your system seems to be connected to the router. But your system is rejecting the router's internet connection. Do you have a 3rd party non-Mic rosoft virus scanner running in the background?

    nope, the only antivirus software i have installed is the build in microsoft defender
