Title says it all; someone accidentally sat on my laptop while it was in its bag on the couch. My laptop bag is nothing special, it's just a normal backpack. They got up after in a few seconds after realizing. It is working fine as of now, but I am quite worried. I don't see any visible damages yet. I want to know what can be the consequences?

What will be the first part to be damaged if something like that happens? What things should I test in my laptop to make sure it's still working fine? Dead pixels? Screen bleeding? How to know if the lid of my laptop is damaged? I don't see any hinge problem as of now, but will it come in future because of what happened today?

It is an Acer Nitro 5, so you can know more about the build.

@KrishJames123 does that person sit on the top or the bottom of the laptop? If he/she sat on the top, check the LCD through different colors for dead pixels. If on the bottom, it is totally fine.

Thank you and have a nice day!
