Battery life 25' since upgraded mt ACER A315-35 to W11. Solution?

The life of my Aspire 3 has fallen to merely 25m since a recent upgrade of W11.
Battery worked perfectly fine.

I run Acer Care Center, Checkup and Battery Health show 'Attention Required'.
I did Battery Calibration and now if I disconnect the power the battery passesfrom 100% to 99% and gives an estimated life time of 15m. But 99% never changes.

WHAT is w11 and how to fix this mess? Does ACER have any idea?

Yes, we already know Win11 has a problem reporting charge level. But when the machine is turned off, Win11 isn't involved anymore. The machine's own charging hardware takes over. When the battery LED is blue when turned off, then it's ready to update the BIOS firmware. Turn the machine on. Boot to Win11. Then run the BIOS update ASAP.

    >>>The Acer SG customer care gives me 14 days (or more) to service it and honestly I find it crazy as I simply asked to change the battery. I am asking another centre if they can be faster.>>>

ACER 5G customer care would like to check for other issues that could cause a battery to fail. I think this is a good idea. You should let them check the whole laptop for other possible problems that you and I have not identified because I cannot actually touch & see your laptop.

Yes, go to this link and download, unzip & install that latest BIOS version that should  address the Win11 battery issue

Yes. Make sure battery is fully charged & plugged before trying to install. Report back with results

Problem is that it does not fully charge it.

Then simply shut the machine down plugged in. Wait until the battery charge LED turns from steady orange to steady blue. Then turn it on again and run the BIOS update. You may have to shut it down again and boot up again for the BIOS update to take effect.

Problem: doing so the LED shows the blue after a few minutes (pc off and switched off with 5% of charge according to w11)

    BIOS update.
Now I will see how it goes...

So at 11:18 the charge says 100% (plugged), now I disconnect the plug.
First difference, the battery % counter does not go immediately to 99%
BUT at11:19 it is already like this

    at 11:22 at 84%.

I start ACER CARE CENTER, battery health still says attention required.
No unexpected as it is draining fast. My guess it was not fully charged and levels were not taken correctly.
    70% at 11:26

Now I switch on the battery saver
    61% at 11:29

I am trying to reach a low battery level now and then I will charge it with the pc off

OK. At the next  charge cycle, let the battery drain to about 10%. Then plug it in again but keep Win11 running to battery reaches 100% level. Then unplug and let it drain again to 10%. This will help Win11 calibrate its battery meter.

I'm beginning to think that it's a coincidence that the battery started deteriorating in this manner immediately after installing Win11. Does the first part of the battery report confirm full charge capacity is now 2.486 whr?

    Yes it does.

The coincidence is not proving anything, but it is fairly too strange.

Sorry. You're battery should be replaced. I still don't think Win11 is the cause. New batteries are about $55usd. If it was mine, I'd get a new battery.
