Hi everyone,

When I bought the
Acer Nitro  N50-620  it included 2 sets of mounting brackets but no screws. Where can I get the screws that fit the hard drive to fix it into the mounting bracket?  I bought regular screws for 3.5" HDD but they are too short.

Screws are different for 2.5" and 3.5" drives. 2.5" use M3 screws and 3.5" use #6-32. Since you are working with a 3.5" drive, use the latter... Take the too short ones to a hardware store and get ones that are 1/4 inch or so longer. Acer, when they put a HDD in your model, uses a carrier to hold the drive (Acer part number: 342.0E50Q.0001) that doesn't require screws, it is made from a flexible plastic with little nubs that fit into the screw holes. The whole things just latches into place to hold the drive securely.
