What is the recommended upgrade if I were to upgrade the ram of my acer aspire 5 A514 laptop?

Currently I have 8gb of ram installed in my laptop and I'm wondering what is the maximum ram that I can install.I also want to know what is/are the best ram to buy so that I can get the best experience. Advance thank you for those that will answer.

    @Domi22 this model has one RAM slot and that 8GB is soldered. The maximum is 24GB(8GB+16GB)(100% compatible) or might be 40GB(8GB+32GB I'm not really sure much about this.)
    If you play games a lot, you can add another 8GB stick for the Dual Channel and a 10% boost in performance. Or add another 16GB stick if you use photoshop or video editing. 
    For the RAM bus speed, you can check the task manager, performance tab, and memory. You will see the speed. Use that to buy the same RAM specs like DDR4-XXXXMHz SODIMM (XXXX is your RAM speed).
