So a week in to me getting a nitro 5. Not easy getting to grips with the issues that you come across. It should be simply plug and play. Spent more time on forums etc getting it to run as it should. Now I managed to get it set up right. Then another thing I encounter. I noticed it before but thought it was a loose wire. But tested it again today. Put a high end game on. Played for 15 mins or so then noticed my battery light changed to orange.
Looked in desktop and checked battery level. It was on 95%. But said plugged in. How is it draining battery when it should be running of ac mains.? I  changed my setting in power to balanced as don't need high performance atm. Yet when playing games my battery will drain. Starting to wonder if it was a good idea to get this now.

@Mrgreenlight I have seen that many laptops also have their battery drained to 96-95% during heavy gaming but not below 90%. I think that is normal because this will protect the battery in a hot space.
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

Yeah been on few websites. Apparently is because the cut back on the size of the adapter which can only handle a certain wattage. I have a 2nd laptop in use for work which power 3 screens. Heavy usage and the power adapter is twice the size as the one for nitro 5. Is also has a small van to keep it cool under heavy load.
I am shocked acer have followed dell and others in cutting back  power packs. Mainly delivery and packaging they use is the reason
