I try to play some games but my laptop won't charge and also blinks red when it shuts down and it stays like that until i remove the battery mine is a predator helios 300 ph315-53 and i don't know if i should buy a new battery or a new charger

This is a new laptop, the battery/charger should be 100%! Open the back cover and disconnect the battery and leave it for 5 -10 min unplugged, then connect the battery back (this will also reset the BIOS so wait until it boots) and try again. The charger/adapter does not go wrong for no reason unless you have a brown out and power mains problems to cause it to be damaged and/or you have a laptop that its AC side port or internal power/charge board and circuitries have shorted and it triggers the charger/adapter safety internal switch to turn off, so check all that and see if it helps.
