I have bought an Acer Nitro 5 in 2020 and it has been working nicely.
I usually use it on a flat surface and try to keep its temp under 80 during heavy use and under 50 under normal use.
but lately, the fan has been making a rattling noise.
its speed is around 2000 to 2500 and the PC temp is under 50 while on a flat surface.
what could be the problem and how can I fix it

My suggestion to you is to take the back cover off your laptop and see if any of the back plate is connecting with any of the fans? As with heat this back plate cover could have distorted and could be interfering with the fans? Also a fan noise is usually due to the fan being very dirty and full of dust and felt that has gathered into the fans casings and/or the fans bearings being worn, hence causing these noises. Do all that and test the fans if they make any noise, if they do then replace fans with new fans, while you do that also take the thermal module off and repaste both CPU/GPU with a high grade paste.
