I have a Acer Aspire 5 laptop with Ryzen 7 with Radeon Graphics.
But the minimum brightness in this laptop is still high for me to work at night.

I am a linux user but the minimum brightness in both windows and linux are high.
How is it possible to get lower brightness?

Note:
I do have graphics driver installed and working properly in both Windows and Linux.
I want to lower brightness from hardware level, (not with packages like xgamma).

What A5 model do you have? There are dozens. A515-51g? A515-41? etc?

FN+F3 lowers brightness at the BIOS firmware level so not much more control over brightness than those keys.

You might be able to reduce it further with screen dimmer v2 freeware. There are others that you may try shown in this link but dimmer is about the best.

If you still need more, there are very inexpensive removable neutral density transparent filters that actually fit upon your screen such as found in this link
