Hello. My Swift 1 will restart when I shut down my computer. What could be the cause?

Open Control Panel. Search 'button'. Click 'change what the power buttons do' in left pane. Click 'change settings that are currently unavailable' near top of next  pane. Scroll down and unchec or turnoff  the box for fast startup. Save changes and exit. Try shutdown again.

I already had a badge a few weeks ago. I would like to add that the latest drivers, Win updates, change in the registry from 0 to 1. All the moves that google and Internet users suggest. Even power from usb, keyboard, mouse as well ... I don't know what else could be responsible for such a strange operation of the system. If you have any ideas, I have nothing to lose :) Thanks for the answer.

    (1) Press and hold power button until laptop shuts off.
    (2) Turn laptop on and immediately tap F2 key to enter BIOS menu
    (3) Enable F12 boot and D2D options in MAIN tab
    (4) Press F10 to save settings and exit BIOS menu
    (5) Press and hold power button again until laptop shuts off.
    (6) Turn laptop back on and immediately press and hold ALT key while tapping F10 key
    (7) Menu should appear to allow a factory Windows reset

    Hi @DaniFilth,

Sometimes, a bug in the operating system can cause the PC to restart after shutdown. Staying up to date on Windows updates is a sure way to protect the system from any known bugs and crashes. Not only this but any corrupted drivers or system crashes are also fixed by software updates.
