I always keep my laptop plugged in and have had it for about 2 years. My clock speed usually stays close to or at the turbo clock level (~3.9). Recently though, I have notice extreme downgrades in performance in many games that I was able to run fine previously. I checked my CPU clock speed and while playing games it drops to 0.7 - 2.2. I have searched for a fix to this problem and was not able to find anything. Thank you in advance to anyone who can point me to a solution to this problem.

@armabrayden do you see the temperature spiking above 95c while playing games?
