Hello,
My Aspire A715-42G brightness is not very responsive.
It takes a while (maybe around a second or less) for the brightness to raise/lower.
When I adjust through the system interface, it works perfectly without lag.
I dual-boot both Windows 11 and Linux(Pop!_OS), and the problem is in both OS. (It was also there in Windows 11 before I dual-booted)
Thanks you in advance

Maybe. But not without taking a significant risk of bricking or disabling the machine. Does it bother you enough that you'd be willing to take that risk even if not covered by warranty?

Windows is an operating system. Linux is an operating system. What do you mean by system interface? If you mean pressing the F3 or F4 brightness keys seems faster than using the operating system brrightness control apps, this is normal behavior especially if you have too many programs and browser pages all open at the same time and virus scanner running in the background.

I'm sorry, I think I said it in a confusing way. I meant that the buttons are slow, but if I, for example, adjust it through the notification panel in Windows, it works normally.

Is the slower response a problem for you?

It's not exactly a problem, but it bothers me time to time and I got curious why this happens, and if there is a fix.

I see, I'd rather not risk my machine. Thanks for helping me until now
