What is your Nitro 5 EXSACT model number? As Acer has specific VBIOS updates for certain models like this for the AN515-55 titled “Update Nvidia discrete VGA VBIOS and improve performance” and this is specific for that model ONLY! And you shoud NOT update flash your VBIOS for your laptop model if Acer does NOT have an update flash for your Nitro 5 model! Look up your Nitro 5’s Acer Drivers & Manual page and if under BIOS there is an update? Let me warn you, that if there is NO Acer VBIOS update for your Nitro 5 then DON’T use any other VBIOS flash updates from site such as TechPowerUp or similar sites as you will BRICK your GPU and you won’t be able to recover the VBIOS and you will be up for expensive costs or even a mobo replacement!

Btw, the GPU TGP is the Total Graphics Power, which is the total power consumption of the graphics card therefore and when we are looking at which power supply is the most suitable for our system taking into account the graphics card, the parameter that we must take into account is the TGP and not the TDP, because it is the one that will tell us the total consumption of the device. So by increasing TGP your laptops power supply could fail and make your laptop unworkable, so be very careful as Acer tests all these factors out accordingly and they ONLY have VBIOS updates for appropriate GPU best performance and reliability tested reasons and not just for an overclocking hack and a none functional experimental and failing VBIOS update like you get from these mod sites so BE VERY CAREFUL and remember 'if it aint broke don't fix it" :D
