I reakised that i wasnt using all my cores so i went and fixed that, i went back on the game (destiny2) and then my frames were inconsistent and just being weird

Perhaps you could reveal your PC model number? Is it a desktop? A laptop? A tablet? Windows and games automatically uses all the cores that are available in a CPU. Most consumer PCs only have one CPU.
