Had a customer bring in this laptop to replace the screen. Only place I could find the exact part # as the broken screen was Amazon in China. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B097R77KW8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Took weeks to arrive. Finally got it today and the part #'s match up but the pin connector was very slightly in different spot. Put it together and it updated to Windows 11 automatically upon logging in. Tried driver updates etc but the touch screen will not work.

Says under monitor driver: Device settings for DISPLAY\CMN14F5\4&1c5ca716&1&UID8388688 were not migrated from previous OS installation due to partial or ambiguous device match.
Any ideas? Would downgrading back to Windows 10 make the touch screen start working?Thank you

Try to press Fn+F7 if it did not work than Check for touch complaint driver in device manager. Mostly this would be listed as HID devices. Simply uninstall it ( Do not delete the driver software ). Once uninstalled

Verify that the panel you got is Acer part number: KL.14005.050. There are very similar panels that don't have touch capability, but do match the mounts. Perhaps they sent you a non-touch version?
