The paging size changes frequently, sometimes it shows 11157Mb as currently allocated and changes frequently. After setting custom file size my programs do not work. Is anything wrong with SSD? .I also see DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION sometimes and I am really frustrated with that. Please provide me with the solution.

11GB is too much. You have too many unnecessary apps & webpages all running at the same time. Make custom size 15-20% of  RAM installed to see how that works.

Yes, I did that earlier but that didn't work. My apps and programs started to crash showing errors related to memory...

What is your full ACER model number? For example, A515-54?

        Aspire A715-42G

Look at the Currently allocated memory it's automatically set at 7168MB and that's filling up my drive and it keeps on changing.

You've still got it set to automatic. Please uncheck automatic and make custom size 15-20% of  RAM (~2GB recommende) to see how that works. If it doesn't, then try less, ~1GB.  With 16GB you might even be able to go all the way down to the minimum 0.016GB.

If I am selecting the custom size my applications are crashing

Those are too big for 16GB RAM installed! Please start at 2GB and work your way down, NOT up! Decrease by 500MB or 0.5GB at a time till the watchdog violations seem to stop.

Start testing at 2GB anyway. And work your way down (not up) in 500MB decrements till notices seem to stop.

I tried but I am getting BSOD "Video Tdr Failure". I think something is wrong with the hardware because I am getting BSOD's at regular intervals . Earlier I used to get DPC_Watchdog_violation and I also noticed that if the currently allocated size is around 8GB that my laptop is working fine .

    Try reducing it to 1GB.
