Hi all,

I just bought a simple laptop, the swift 1, to use it for simple things like Excel and Word. But when I am working in one of those, I always get some black stripes in the screen, and it seems likes it is going to crash. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem.

Surfing on internet and things like that aren't a problem, but working in Excel or Word are fcked up..

Thanks in advance!

Can you get a picture that shows the full screen? Are you talking about the blank area at the bottom? Which Swift 1 model is it, it should be something like SF1xx-xxx-xxxx and the model number is likely on the same sticker as the SN and SNID. Which Excel version is it? What OS is running and which version?

If it is only Excel that is having the problem it is likely going to be more effective to ask Microsoft. I know they do updates to Office products pretty often. Are you running Office Desktop or Office 365? If 365, using the onboard apps or online?

    Microsoft Office Crashing
    • This issue can occur if you have not installed the latest updates.
    • Office may be in use by another process.
    • A previously installed add-in may be interfering with Office.
    • You may need to repair your Office programs.
    • Antivirus software may be outdated, or conflicting.
