Black screen on acer nitro 5

I own an acer nitro 5 with 5800h and 3050.
During a gaming session the screen went black.
Thinking it was overheating I left it off for a couple of minutes, but when I start it up again the screen remains black.
The keyboard turns on and seems to start normally, although I noticed that it automatically turns off after a while.
i recently bought it and am worried.

@Steleo try to do a power reset by unplugging the adapter, hold the power button for 30 secs. Try powering the laptop again after you have done so.
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

It doesn't seem to have worked, I think I'll leave it off for a while.

Is there any background image that you can see when you power it on? Look into the screen closely and look if there is a faint image of the “Acer” logo there? As it could be a backlight issue that has burned out and needs replacing hence and why you have a black screen. Otherwise it could be a power circuitry board issue(s) which relates to a Super IO and/or capacitors, fuses that could have shorted or burned out and needs diagnosing by an experienced tech ‘so don’t touch it’ and either get in contact with Acer support or take it to your nearest tech that has the experience and tools to fix these problems.

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.
