Look the motherboard of your V3-531 has a different 40 pin LCD pin plug to the new V3-551 that has a 30 pin LCD plug and that is why its not working, see captions of the different plugs below.

What you have to do is to get the appropriate 30 pin LCD scren look here: ASPIRE V3-551 SERIES LCD screen and also the proper 30 pin LCD cable for the V3-551 series screen and replace the old one for your screen to work with this new motherboard, as the old V3-531 will not work as its LCD plug is NOT the right one and wil not work and that is why you are having these problems.

Your OLD Acer ASPIRE V3-531 SERIES Plug.

Your NEW Acer ASPIRE V3-551-8887 plug.

531 screen should also work fine with 551 mainboard.

Try pressing FN+F6 to turn screen on.

If no change, then either LCD video cable connectors need to be re-seated  or cable replaced due to broken wires in the hinge area from wear and tear of opening and closing the lid too much.

Sai2020 you can do whatever you want but I'm quoting the manufacturer’s suggested LCD pin plugs for these two different Aspire V3 models, so you can try both the above options. As the 40 pin V3-531 does not work with the V3-551 30 pin motherboard plug its totally different and you can’t plug the V3-551 30 pin LCD cable into the V3-531 plug as it will not work, they are totally different and can’t be jigged to work, below are the two suggested different screens for the V3-531 and the V3-551 as listed by the same seller of these two screens. You can try it but its not suggested to do so. Get the appropriate screen for your new V3-551 motherboard.
