I enter the correct SNID but get a reply that it isn't found.

    Try to use a different browser and check.    Kindly check whether you have entered the right snid.    Try it with a serial no if you have an option to do it.

    Note that it's important that you are logged into the correct Acer site for your locale. If you try to register a UK monitor on the USA Site (for instance) it likely will not work.
