I am trying to install (2) Crucial RAM 8GB DDR3L 1600 MHz CL11 Laptop Memory CT102464BF160B.
System Specs:
System Manufacturer    Acer
System Model    Aspire 5733Z
System Type    x64-based PC
Processor    Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU P6200  @ 2.13GHz, 2133 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date    Acer V1.04, 7/22/2011
Installed Physical Memory (RAM)    4.00 GB (2 slots,2x2gb)
Total Physical Memory    3.68 GB
Available Physical Memory    1.40 GB
OS Name    Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
Version    6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601

1st attempt:
with both 8gb slots filled after during boot-up the system offers a choice of doing a window repair or normal boot. Upon choosing the 'windows repair" I end up in a restart loop. Going into setup after reboot BIOS lists @ 6394MB

Summary of next 4 attempts (insert fast speed montage):
using each stick in top/bottom slots BIOS listed "Total Memory" @ 8192MB. The only difference is that the blue screen received after the windows repair is completed (see below).  Same result in ALL cases is the restart.
or  .

Research suggested that max memory for Win7 Home Premium 64bit is 16GB but looking at some cases in the "Community" I've read that JackE stated that an 8gb in BOTH slots  - will not work.

Even if that is the case, can I get any advice as to if 1 singular 8GB is installed - I still get in the restart loop.  BIOS does recognize 8196GB but no boot-up. I can live with 8GB if I have to.

The Aspire 5733Z CPU’s 1st Gen (if you have the Intel® Pentium® Processor P6200) but if you don’t then all the processors fitted to this laptop have the same specs which quotes that the max memory for this CPU is 8GB at memory type DDR3 800 to 1066MHz, this is Intel’s specs and it can’t be breached, also and what I recommend is that you do the Crucial System Scan? As that will tell you the exact total capacity and suitable type of Crucial RAM that works with your Aspire 5733Z. Also update the bios to the last bios version 1.10 and also install the Intel Driver & Support Assistant and make sure that all the Intel drivers are up to date as that is also crucial to your laptop performing with the highest spec memory and capacity.

It is also worth noting that DDR3 and DDR3L memory is different. The Aspire 5733Z needs DDR3, not DDR3L, they run at different voltages.

The Crucial Scan supports all answers but the text description is "4GB DDR3L". Will there still be a voltage issue? Weird thing is that the text description/image of the current 8GB stick reads "DDR3L" in one spot and reads as "DDR3" in another.

Thank you all for your input - it is greatly appreciated.

Also, as I forgot to tell you, the only RAM combo that works with your laptop is 2x 4GB into its 2x slots and you can't have 1x8GB in one slot only.
As I've said above the CPU governs the memory specs as Crucial also specifies allot of systems with more max memory than the manufacturer. I've upgraded an Aspire V3-571G to 16GB total memory (2x8GB) and it worked with DDR3-1600MHz as Acer only specified 8GB total (2x4GB) but the V3-571G's CPU the i7-3610QM Intel specs is a total of 16GB and that is why it worked.
