Acer NITRO 5 AN515-54-547D nitrosense fans stop when set on auto and blow out cool air when set on max or custom. About a month or so ago I started hearing 2 consecutive beeping sounds that sound the same as when the ac adapter is plugged in so I plug in  the ac adapter start using the computer 30-45 mins. later I hear the beeps "BEEP BEEP" like Bugs Bunny LOL about 1 second apart now the fans are blowing cool air and the unit is kinda cool to the touch but now when I put the fans on auto they stop completely. so to put these events in order of accrance for you here gose.

1) Computer starts running hot like 180-209 degrees for CPU and GPU 20-135 degrees.

2) Computer it runs hot then the "BEEP BEEP" sounds start accruing.

3) Fans start blowing cool air still hearing the BEEP BEEP sounds.

4) Fans stop working when set on Auto but still work when set on Max or Custom settings.

The only things I have done are blow out the back/bottom and the keyboard. These actions were done after #2 in my list.

Thank You

    1) Computer starts running hot like 180-209 degrees for CPU and GPU 20-135 degrees.

Your temperature monitors are mixed up. The GPU cannot be running at 20°F unless it's setting inside a freezer turned off.

When was the last time the heat sinks were re-pasted. This should be done yearly as routine maintenance.

The beep sounds are likely happening plugged in with battery between 50-100% charged under heavy gaming loads.

Thanks for the INFO, the beep sounds explanation is right on point because after doing a lot of reading about the issue ac adapter was also very hot so by unplugging it let it cool then I plug it back an all is good. As for the nitrosense issues I have had the computer on 8 hours just the desktop screen and EDGE browser on CPU min:32 degrees max:190 degrees fluctuates between 115/10%-160/32% and hovers around 135 degrees as for the GPU has been at min:82 max:129 degrees and 0% all temps stated on this post are in degrees Fahrenheit. I have never "re-pasted" the heat sinks on any system I'll be doing some research on the topic, so I'll be able to perform such actions. I thank you for taking the time out of your day to respond to my questions, the INFO that you have provided has been helpful to me.

    Thanks

    >>>CPU min:32 degrees max:190 degrees>>>

What temp monitor are you using? 32°F is way off the mark. Should be closer to 105°F. And 190°F is way too hot with just Edge running.
