I am currently running an Intel i7-10700 @2.90GHz and was wondering what I am able to upgrade it to?

    Hi,
Go to Control Panel, Hardware and sound, Power Options and change to High Performance power plan and see whether the CPU speed increase.

The i9-10900 (not F) would be the best option for an upgrade, but don't expect a huge increase in performance. Typically drives and memory get you a lot farther, with GPU next and CPU last.

As mentioned above. I really don't see any real benefit from upgrading from 10700 to 10900 other than bragging rights. Sure, 10900 has two cores and four threads more, but you'll see little if any gains depending on the software you use. If you only play games... save your money. ^^
