KA242Y My monitor has shadows and horizontal gray lines

I have an acer large screen monitor that suddenly has shadows and horizontal gray lines.  I've tried using the buttons on the side to clear all this out but they don't help but they have helped clear this up in the past.  What can I do?  This monitor might be up to a year old.  I did switch to Win 11 a month ago but did not have problems then.

It might help if you could reveal the full model numbers of both the monitor and pc.

Monitor: KA242Y
PC: HP desktop: M01-F0014

My TV is wireless working off of the M01-F0014.  I will investigate whether I can hard-wire connect it to my TV later today and report back.  Thank you.

Wirelessly sending something to the TV should be OK too. Really want to check the GPU output at this, not necessarily the hard wire port.

somehow the problem has cleared up.  I don't know what I did.  Maybe restarting my computer helped clear it up.  Thank yo u.

Thanks for reporting back. Simply re-booting can solve a lot of issues.
